XSET and Breakaway Music Festival Unite to Forge an Innovative Gaming and Music Experience

Boston, May 18, 2023  - Today XSET, the world's fastest-growing gaming lifestyle and media organization, announced its partnership with the nation’s largest touring music festival, Breakaway Music Festival. This partnership will allow the two cultural lifestyle companies to combine gaming and music through unique experiential activations that will be part of programming at the Breakaway festivals. 

 

XSET, a Boston-headquartered organization, and Breakaway, are set to launch the inaugural gaming activation at the recently announced Breakaway Boston event, September 15th to September 16th. The festival will follow XSET’s day with the Red Sox in July, where the gaming lifestyle organization will create a gaming lounge in Fenway Park open to all game goers, further embedding XSET in Boston’s cultural scene. XSET continues to strive for unique partnerships in different lifestyle categories to further connect with gamers and the gaming community.

Breakaway, which started in Columbus, Ohio, in 2016, has since expanded to a touring, multi-stage, two-day event. This year marks the most extensive multi-city tour for Breakaway in US cities, including Charlotte, NC (May 5 – 6 and September 29 – 30); Kansas City, MO (July 14 – 15); Grand Rapids, MI (August 18 – 19); Columbus, OH (August 25 – 26); Boston, MA (September 15 – 16); and San Francisco, CA (October 13 – 14). Breakaway’s vision is to power the voice of today’s generation through music, community, art and technology.

 

XSET and Breakaway’s partnership will allow the brands to produce co-branded apparel capsules, along with on and offline programming across the calendar year. Further, Breakaway Festival attendees will be given the opportunity to meet some of XSET’s exciting talent roster.
